Jobs execute the 10x Engine periodically via Linux cron or k8s CronJob.

This launcher employs the Cloud flavor.

Use-case:

Compiler apps can periodically pull changes from GitHub, Docker and Artifactory repos to update symbol library files used by 10x apps at run time.

Reporter apps periodically fetches and and reports on the app/infra events that incur the highest costs within a target log log analyzer (e.g., Splunk, Elastic).

Policy functions identify the app/infra events that incur the highest cost across an environment and store this information on GitHub. Edge regulators pull these lookup files to filter 'noisy' telemetry and prevent over-billing.
